The Resort is situated on the 400 kms long main highway of the Islands at a distance of about 105 Kms from Port Blair town in Sundergarh village at Baratang Island. The location of the Resort is surrounded by thick green forests and is totally isolated from the usual hustle & bustle of city life.

It was a delightful stay. It was our second visit to andamans and first time to Baratang and so was dew dale resorts. Managements service is worth mentioning.
A true resort is more than just an expensive place to stay in an area with tourist attractions...this property could benefit from an activities desk,to supply accurate information to guest,make booking with local tour boat operators and arrange local transportation where necessary. The property itself is attractive the location is in a rural area,food quality was good quantity wise also we had really fun at this place the staff were helpful and polite.
The location of this hotel in a remote village.We were thrilled by the natural landscape of the hotel.The rooms were well decorated with all new and modern furniture.Room service was also available but we preferred its dining hut.Food quality was also very good but choices were limited.The tourists who really love to stay a day or two in the lap of the nature should certainly visit this place.
The trip to Baratang is awesome.Its a forest ride and the Jarawas(natives)are dangerous they say and so one has to travel in convoy.On reaching the hotel one is very satisfied with the rooms and the service.The greenery is good and the food though it takes time to arrive is deliciously prepared.There are green lizards seen everywhere here.You feel you are away all to yourself out here.This however is the only hotel at least at that time out here at Baratang.
The term "resort" is used in India very loosely.A true resort is more than just an expensive place to stay in an area with tourist attractions!This property could benefit from an activities desk,to supply accurate information to guests,make bookings with local tour boat operators and arrange local transportation where necessary.The property itself is attractive;the location is in rural area,but right on a well-trafficked highway,so it is not exactly quiet.There is nothing to do in the property itself;you have to travel to Nilambar jetty 5km away for tour boats to the limestone caverns and to Parrot Island.The staff were helpful,but not very knowledgeable.
