The best way to reach Havelock is by the air conditioned catamaran ferry, which takes only 90 minutes from Port Blair. There are government ferry services available as well which take about 2.5 hours. Do book your tickets in advance during peak season.

Radhanagar Beach

The sky is a brilliant blue and, with the vista of a never ending stretch of thick, green coastline, the entire beach is a delight.

Elephant Beach

This beach is another ideal site for snorkeling. It has a rich coral reef formation and amazing underwater marine life. One can reach Elephant beach by small cruise boat from Havelock Jetty in about 40 minutes. By road one can go up to the Forest Camp which is 8 Kms from the Jetty towards Radhanagar side and from there by walk to the Elephant beach which will take another 40 minutes. Private ferry operators organize tours to Elephant beach from Havelock.

Kalapathar Beach

The Kalapathar beach is situated on one corner of Havelock Island. The beach gets its name from the surrounding village called Kalapathar Village and the black rocks (Kalapathar Rocks) that adorn the coastline here.Kalapathar Beach is quiet a questionable beach for some because of it being pretty far from the main town,but the reason it was chosen for its mention was because of it being an amazing picnic spot to visit either alone with friends.
